B-D caught up with the new toast of the town, Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead, 300) who took a couple seconds out of his busy night to chat about Army of the Dead, his next zombie feature. He tells us that what will separate this film from any other zombie film is it's scope... "it will be massive!" He really drove home the point that we have never seen anything of this scale in our horror lives. He also proclaimed his love for the genre and said he'll be sticking around for quite some time. Set in a quarantined Las Vegas in the not-too-distant future, "Army" revolves around a father who tries to save his daughter from imminent death in a zombie-infested world. i'd love to see a zombie movie "300" style. i really hope he goes that route and does something different for what i personally consider a sub-genre that's getting pretty stale.
I've been waiting for him to make another zombie movie because his Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorite movies.
