Sony Announces 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' SE Release

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a new special edition of Bram Stoker's Dracula, which stars Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins, and Keanu Reeves for release on October 2. The two-disc special edition will include a newly remastered anamorphic widescreen presentation, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a video introduction by Francis Ford Coppola, an audio commentary by Coppola, a documentary, deleted scenes, the trailer, and more. A Blu-ray edition will also be available for around $28.95. Click the link for the cover art.

I just might be the only horror fan who really, really loves this movie. I've somehow managed to look past the overwhelmingly terrible Keanu acting in this film, because there's so much else to like. Oldman's performance as the Count for one. The fantastic design and thematic elements. And Hopkins is a far better Van Helsing then Jackman ever was. Really can't wait for this SE. My favorite Vamp flick of all time...
