Australian actor Vince Colosimo (Lantana) has landed a role in Lionsgate’s Daybreakers alongside Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, according to Variety. Michael and Peter Spierig are writer-directors on the vampire pic, which is lensing in Queensland, Australia. Colosimo’s credits include “The Hard Word,” “Chopper” and a recur-ring role on “The Practice.” It is 2016, and it has been 10 years since the plague transformed ordinary people into Vampires dependent on human blood for survival. As the human race nears extinction and the Vampire population grows desperate for blood, a group of rebel Vampires battle military forces to save the last vestiges of humanity.
