After a few weeks of some of the most terrible releases, this week's Horror In Your House is a 'monster'. Finally arriving on Tuesday, July 24, you'll find the classic '80s movie Monster Squad (DVD Trailer) for the first time ever on DVD. Not only that, but Magnolia Pictures releases their monster movie The Host, Paramount releases Perfume and New Line releases The Number 23. Read on to see what other gems lie within.

The cadaverous cut-up is your host for a 15-episode die-gest based on classic horror comics from back in the day and featuring a parade of characters who are variously merciless, clueless, topless and headless. Hank Azaria, Shelley Hack, Isaac Hayes, Richard Lewis, John Lithgow, Wayne Newton, Isabella Rossellini, Rita Rudner and Humphrey Bogart (you read that right) are among the stars. And vampires, mad doctors, killers, ghosts and adulterers are eager to come out and play. We could tell you more, but that would be wrong. You do know rot from wrong, don't you?
Tales from the Crypt: The Complete Seasons 1-6 (boxed set): HBO
Television viewers got a fright in 1989, when TALES FROM THE CRYPT made the transition from EC comic book to TV show. Hosted by the Cryptkeeper, each episode of the show offered a new, ghoulish tale for the audience to sink their teeth (or fangs) into. The show originated on HBO, and all six episodes from the first season are included here. It was such a success that myriad CRYPT-inspired spin-offs resulted, including an animated series, several features and seemingly infinite merchandising opportunities. A popular favorite among horror-film fans, TALES FROM THE CRYPT also appeals to viewers who love the visceral thrill of jumping out of their seats as terrifying scenes unfold in front of them. The first six seasons of the show are gathered on this collection.
