Yes I'm still blind, but the news gets even better this evening. Your #1 source for all things horror, Bloody-Disgusting, has just confirmed through multiple sources that David Hackl, the production designer on Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV and second unit director on Saw II and Saw IV has OFFICIALLY been attached to helm both Lionsgate's Saw V and Saw VI, assuming a hole doesn't form in the Earth and suck the franchise in with it. Will Jigsaw return? I'm sure he will. But this news comes so early don't expect much more until we see how well Saw IV does, which Hackl was once in the running to direct.

I'd be freaking out too, Jigsaw's BACK!

Loved the first three but is there really anywhere else this series can go? I mean, they've had people vomiting in the cinema already. (On my shoes in fact. Bastards). What else can they really achieve?

One saw was enough, now it's just getting out of hand.

Saw VIII: Jigsaw Takes Manhattan!!! No seriously, I'm willing to give them a chance. I agree with the others though, where else can they go with this?

Saw III was unwatchable. I seriously cannot believe they even made a forth one.

I will never understand people complaining about movies being made. If you don't like it, don't go see it! For fucks sake, no one is forcing you to watch the movie. There are others that want to see the film, you are not the only fucking on the fucking planet.

i agree with hurmoth....dont watch it if you dont like it wtf, obviously the "Saw" series is wanted considering it keeps coming out at the top of the box office which each of the films so fuck off

I am so stoked! I loved all three, in my opinion (and thats all it is) each sequal gets better, more exciting and graphic than it's predecessor. I'll keep on watching them until they stop making them.

Unfortunately this series will never die. But the fact that people side with Jigsaw is a nihilistic acceptance that says something really disturbing about the time we're living. When newer generations see stuff like this and Clockwork Orange and agree with the bad guy it makes me not want to know what kind of future the youth of America has in store.

Saw will end with 6, if it even really make it that far. It all depends on box office sales. And Jigsaw is a great character, we don't necessarily "side" with Jigsaw, but we can appreciate what he's trying to accomplish though.

OK we've known for awhile now that they were gonna do 6 films. If they do more than that who knows. But I pray that they don't. I do enjoy these films for what they are worth to me, which is something for me to enjoy watching and feel shocked at the end. But if they do more than 6, they are just inevitably gonna run out of ideas and it'll be stagnant. These were good films in my opinion, but I don't think they were meant to go beyond 3 and definitely not 6.

bousman is screwing up a classic film by james wan with all these lame additions to the original. it keeps getting worse and worse, but whatever, ill give it a chance, it might be worth it. but bousman = d bag!

saw 3 was the best one so far.. morons..

No need to "belittle" others by calling them morons because your opinion differs. The series has been great, and the sequels aren't being tacked on, they have relevance to the previous films, and if 5 and 6 are filmed back to back we'll no doubt come to a satisfying conclusion. And a lot of people, like myself, don't watch it just for the gore. It's fun to see, but the Saw series has story, unlike other gorno films being made.

If they continue to put in the same amount of effort that they have so far into the Saw films then I am all for a 5 and 6. While overall I did not find Saw 3 to be as good as the 1st or 2nd, I still thought they did a good job of furthering the story and making a film that was worthwhile. Unlike many horror sequels I love (Friday the 13th, etc) where they simply pump them out with little regard to consistency (both in terms of story and cast), the Saw films have been made with such care and consideration that they all sit very well together and expand on the ideas and characters of previous films. As long as they keep putting this amount of thought and effort into the movies, I will keep watching.

Yessss, I agree! If you don't like the movies, the one's who like them don't want to hear your bitching! So stop wondering about where they are going with the new films..if you don't like them soo much! These films are more clever and original than most of the horror/ thriller movies out there. Yeah they're gory and disgusting, but they match all of that with amazing storylines. So, go get a life you fucks.

Why r u all complaining, they all have rock! i mean how could guest the end of the movie? i call u liar if u say u did xD All horror clasics have a lot of sequels.. ( example friday the 13th series, the nightmare on elm street, halloween, hellraiser etc.) and u got to admit the 4 saw movies r really well done unlike many of the movies i mentioned earlier

The saw series is the next best series in horror movies. We all know we loved every Jason movie even if he was in space with a super chrome body. Same with the extensive story plots in Freddy and Michael. I also know your all tired of horror porn (a.k.a hostel and its sequel).we love the twists and turns in saw no matter how outrageous they are and even if it does get worse (not going to happen) who cares its fun to think about what we could have done better

BlondeInChains

Saw is definetly the best of horror movies. It's genious and always will be.
