Laura Allen (pictured inside; The 4400) has been added to the cast of indie thriller From Within, according to Variety. Elizabeth Rice stars as a girl torn between her Christian up-bringing and a desire to experience the outside world. Allen will play her born-again stepmother. Chris Gibbin and Adrian Butchart produce, with Phedon Papa-michael directing. Lensing is under way in Maryland. Thesp's credits include "Dirt" and "Mona Lisa Smile." Thomas Dekker, Adam Goldberg and Jake Weber also star (previous story here).
