Shoreline Entertainment has optioned the film rights to adult indie comicbook The Living Corpse (pictured inside), created by Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson, according to Variety. Shoreline CEO Morris Ruskin will produce the project as a live-action feature written and helmed by Justin Ritter (KatieBird *Certifiable Crazy Person). "The Living Corpse" -- initially self-published by Haeser and Hasson -- weaves the tale of a zombie who has vague memories of his past life. His mission is to keep the rest of the walking dead in their graves. Comicbook was recently picked up by publisher Zenescope Entertainment.
