Director John Moore (The Omen) has optioned feature rights to dark fantasy The Book of Lost Things by bestselling Irish author John Connolly, according to Variety. Published last year, book centers on a 12-year-old English boy whose mother died and father remarried. When a portal to another world opens, the boy enters a land of beasts and monsters, where he must undertake a quest to earn his way back out.
