After a nearly two-year gap, Director Bruck Eisner is now in pre-production for his remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon, which has Strike Entertainment producing with Universal Pictures distributing, according to Variety. The script was written by Gary Ross, which follows a scientific expedition traveling up the Amazon River encounter a dangerous humanoid amphibious fish creature.
