In addition to a new image of Daeg Faerch (young Michael Myers), inside you'll find a list of the music tracks for Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween, which hits theaters August 31. You can meet Daeg, along with Hanna Hall, Sid Haig, Ken Foree, Bill Moseley and other Halloween stars at this weekend's HorrorHound Weekend in Indiana. After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Track listing and image from Halloween MySpace:

1. BOC - Don't Fear The Reaper
2. Nazareth - Love Hurts
3. Peter Frampton - baby, I Love Your Way
4 Rush - Tom Sawyer
5. BTO - Let It Ride
6 Kiss - God Of Thunder
7. Love is like Oxygen - The Sweet
8. Alice Cooper - Only Women Bleed
9 Misfits - Halloween 2
10. Halloween theme - Tyler Bates
11. Michael stalks Laurie - Tyler Bates
12. Mr. Sandman - Nan Vernon

The CD also features cool clips from the movie in between the music.

The full score by Tyler Bates will be a separate CD.

He kept 'Mr. Sandman' from part 2 - AND he included a Misfits song? Color me impressed... I saw 1408 last night and watched the Halloween trailer on the big screen; now, maybe it was the bong hits i took in the car before hand, but that trailer gave me goosebumps. I'm not going to the "Light-Side", but hey, if it's good - I'll be the first the fess-up.

I don't know.....it just seems like a laundrey list of aor stanards to try and pump the audience. Mr. Sandman seems like a sad attempt at relevance to the earlier movies. BUT, before I get hammerred by the clownboys, let me say that I can't harp on this too much, it's a minor detail and was to be expected.

Maybe someone can answer this question for me. The 3rd act of this movie takes place in 1995. Where's the 90's music at?

"Why put a republican Cooper in the mix?" Are you serious with this question? What does it matter the political affiliation (real or assumed on your part) of the musicians on the soundtrack? ONLY WOMEN BLEED is certainly not a political song, and it is relevant (presumably) to the period depicted on-screen. What primary Cooper is eligible to vote in hardly has any bearing on the song's appropriateness to the film.

Yay for Misfits! Although, the first Halloween song would've been more fitting. Halloween 2 is very appropriate for a werewolf movie.

dont anybody hate on rob zombie. saying he put mr sandman in as only a reference to the second film (which in part it does) but you got to realize how that song made the feel of myers so much creepier in the second film. i think all these songs will work fucking perfectly for all that zombie has planned for this film. remember he was a musician first, he knows his shit. also all the music in his movies are great, they add the perfect feel to the scene they are put in. rob zombie is awesome! great song choices.

Lots of 70's classic rock. Hell, I like 'em! Mr. Sandman??? I thought that is a H2 and H7 tune. Now, back to the movie at hand...

Hey people, keep politics out of this. It is a HORROR movie, NOT a Michael Moore movie!
