In a story posted here, it was revealed that the remake of The Last House on the Left was heading toward the softer side of horror with director Dennis Iliadis at the helm. Today we received word that the film, which follows a gang of rapists and murderers terrorizing a family, is in fact going to be a "hard R" and will be extremely violent. There is no intention of the film being PG-13 at this point. Watch for more news as it comes in, watch for casting news soon!
I'm glad it's not going to pussy out like most other movies that JUST want the bigger pay check. But, I never really enjoyed the original, thought it was dull. But that doesn't matter. Kudos for them sticking to their guns unlike so many others out in plastic land.
Good thing...ppl who were born in 1987 need to stfu when doing these retellings/remakes and get a tad more wet & graphic dont they?
