Bloody-Disgusting has just learned that Bill Moseley will have a small role as a security guard in Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween, which is slated for release on August 31. Moseley starred as Otis Firefly in both Zombie's The Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses. After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.
bill's a great actor, not surprised Zombie is using a regular group of actors, but i like that. I'll watch bill in anything so thats awesome he's in this.
It's no big deal. Alot of directors use people they have previously worked with and are comfortable with. Ron Howard puts his brother in every movie he does. Adam Sandler puts EVERYBODY he knows in all his movies, Tarantino another. It's really not news. I just hope it kicks ass, I'll be there opening night, Aug 31.
.....and you'd have a lot of flaming toilet fans desperate to be included in that special "Rob's Friends" club who would seriously try to argue that flaming toilets represent a bold new direction in horror if we'd only wait to see the flaming toilets before we judge their foolishness and the lack of credibility by the flaming toilet creator. BTW dumba$ses (you know who you are).....where's my credible "hard" evidance????? Or did we conveniently forget about all that?????
