New indie distributor 24 frames has acquired North American rights to Thai horror flick Alone ("Faet") for its extreme label, according to Variety. The pic is the second from co-directors Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom, whose debut feature "Shutter" was a left field hit in 2005 and has been picked up for remake by Vertigo Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. As part of its deal with producer GMM Tai Hub, 24 frames has also acquired English-language remake rights to "Alone." Story involves a woman who is haunted by spirit of her dead Siamese twin.
