Big fan of Stephen King are ya? Well then you're going to dig his official 'thumbs up' for Dimension Films' adaptation of his story 1408 (review), which hits theaters everywhere this Friday. Read on to see what the 'king' had to say and don't forget to watch our exclusive video interviews and clips here. 1408 is the tale of a debunker of paranormal occurrences (John Cusack) who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel.
"It's a pleasure to be able to recommend '1408,' the Dimension Pictures adaptation of my story. It stars John Cusack and opens this Friday. This is a genuinely disquieting movie--the damn thing gets under your skin and just CRAWLS there. For one thing, what could be more terrifying than a man haunted by The Carpenters' "We've Only Just Begun?" I doubt if you'll hear much screaming in the theater (I could be wrong about that), but a lot of people are going to be sleeping with the lights on when it's over."
this is going to be one hell of a movie. or at least i hope so. but really nothing can beat the saw movies
