Over the past week we've added a whole bunch of reviews, some of which we're pretty excited about. You can now read one of the first reviews for Robert Kurtzman's gore-fest The Rage, which people have been pretty excited about; also now on the site is our official review for Universal's long-delayed White Noise 2: The Light, which is getting dumped on DVD later this year. Read on for quotes from all of the latest reviews or just head straight on over to our DVD review page.
The Rage review by Tex Massacre, "THE RAGE is a B-movie marvel in all its gory glory—frame-for-frame soaked to the exposed bone with gallons of grue... It’s everything a gorehound dreams about late at night. It’s everything that was great about the Grindhouse era of the 1970’s and everything that is missed from the slash and trash horror shows of the 1980’s."
White Noise 2: The Light review by Horrorholic, "Universal was smart in cutting their losses and releasing this DTV in the states and not springing for a theatrical release. It is, without a shadow of a doubt, the smartest decision involved with this film."
Haunted Forest review by Ryan Daley, "Is it a crime to like Haunted Forest because it simply wasn’t all that bad? Maybe, as a dedicated horror fan, it’s at least a misdemeanor. But I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Haunted Forest was almost palatable. Flog me if you must."
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari review by Tex Massacre and Ryan Daley, "Both versions feature stunning black-and-white visuals but the pacing of Fisher’s version is a little easier to grow accustomed to... For classic horror film fans, Fisher’s update is indispensable, a glorious reimagining of one of cinema’s most influential movies."
Slaughter Night review by Room 237, "Minor gripes aside, Slaughter Night is a fun little twisted film."
Drive-Thru review by Ryan Daley, "Balls to the wall, Drive-Thru is straight-up, straight-to-DVD horror, a good movie that deserves a look by fans of the genre."
