The poster honestly resembles a modern day horror novel cover, but the flick is a prequel and a remake of Halloween, which assumingly, Zombie was wanting to capture the aspect of an old kind of poster. But man, It looks a lil' too cheap, and antique, and the tagline, could have definitely been better. The movie takes us back to Michael Myer's backstory and will introduce us to new revelations, so instead of "Evil Has A Destiny", why not "Evil Re-emerges (Undisclosed Backstory)", or "Evil Retells A Terrifying Story" That would fit very well in my opinion. As for the color & font on the novel cover... oops, I meant poster, the Halloween font could have looked more horrorific, but color is fine for the word though. The rest should have been black and white (Myer's mask too) with Myers (seen wearing his mask, and also a bit of his outfit) on the top lefthand side of the poster (instead of the middle where the figure in the middle obstructs a partial view of seeing his entire mask) The background should have had the faces of the victims he has killed. Across from Myer's image, should be the house with Laurie looking out the window, and at the bottom, Michael Myers standing up staring in that direction, knife in hand. I think it would be cooler like that considering he's after Laurie in this film. Anyway, I don't really like the poster but I'm highly anticipating this movie.
