Amy Holden Jones (Indecent Proposal, Mystic Pizza) has been tapped to rewrite the remake of The Entity for Fox Atomic, according to Moviehole.net. This is actually a return to her roots as her directorial debut was the 1982 slasher flick Slumber Party Massacre. Hideo Nakata (The Ring Two, Ringu) is still attached to direct. The film tells of a woman who is tormented and sexually molested by an invisible demon. Barbara Hershey and Ron Silver starred in the 1981 original.
