MGM Home Entertainment has announced a few new DVD titles for September 11, the first being the highly demanded director’s cut of Stuart Gordon’s From Beyond, which has it's premiere last year on Monsters HD. The DVD will include a Gordon commentary with other extras to be announced. Coming to DVD the same day is the uncut version of the '81 slasher film The Burning, which starred Jason Alexander, Holly Hunter and Fisher Stevens. That movie will be presented in a remastered hi-def widescreen transfer with all of Tom Savini’s gory FX intact, accompanied by commentary by director Tony Maylam and a featurette including a Savini interview and behind-the-scenes footage of his gory handiwork, according to Fangoria. Lastly, the new Return of the Living Dead DVD will include a cast/zombie commentary and more.
I've been dying to see The Burning for a long time now this is great news!
