Andy Serkis (King Kong; pictured inside) will star in The Cottage, the second movie from writer/director Paul Andrew Williams, whose debut "London to Brighton" won several awards last year, according to Variety. "The Cottage" is a black comedy horror pic set in the remote countryside, about two brothers who bungle the kidnapping of the daughter of a crime boss and then stumble across a dark rural secret. Serkis heads a cast that includes Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen), Jennifer Ellison (Phantom of the Opera), Steve O'Donnell and Doug Braley (Hellraiser films). Pic shoots in April.
