Maverick Red, the L.A.-based genre arm of Maverick Pictures, has set Paradise Lost, a remake of a Swedish zombie horror pic, as the first production under its new alliance with Sweden's Grindhouse Pictures, according to Variety. Location scouting for a South Carolina shoot is now under way. "Lost" sees a brother searching for his missing sister, only to find she has been turned into a zombie.
