At its second Cannes, fledgling U.K. sales outfit Jinga Films has closed North America for Craig Strachan's lycanthropic creature feature Wild Country with Lionsgate and Japan with Creative Axa, according to Variety. Toplining Peter Capaldi and Martin Compston, the Scottish-set horror pics uses teenage pregnancy to put a new spin on the werewolf genre. Jinga's new titles screening in the market include Julian Richards' confrontational coming-of-age thriller "Summer Scars," starring Kevin Howarth, and Gary Sherman's doc "39: Epitaph for a Serial Killer."
