DVD Active reports that Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced the Martin Weisz directed horror sequel The Hills Have Eyes 2 (review) for DVD release on July 17; while they have also now announced the long-delayed Perfect Creature for the same day. Perfect Creature has been sitting on Fox's shelves for nearly over a year now, is that a "wink, wink"? I think so... Read on for full DVD specs as well as the cover art.
The unrated cut of the film will be presented in both anamorphic widescreen, and full screen - along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include an alternate ending, deleted scenes, an Exploring the Hills: The Making of The Hills Have Eyes 2 featurette, a Fox Movie Channel Presents: Life After Film School with Wes Craven feature, a Mutant Attacks featurette, a Birth of a Graphic Novel featurette, a gag reel, and trailers.
The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a “Making Of” featurette, a “Designing the Perfect Creature” featurette and trailers.
sadly I haven't watched this movie yet but the first one was really intersting and suspenseful.
