I'll give em Mercedes. She was great in Buffy and Angel. I hope we'll get to see more of her. Sheri Moon....meh, I like her B movie-ness, but she has to promise to stop laughing in her films, it's annoying and ruins all her characters. Nobody will beat Jamie Lee Curtis though...ever.

i think its a nice puff piece for actresses trying to step beyond DTV releases. but as far as its accuracy, it seems like they are just pulling names out of imdb. my votes would be for (if this is not for "damsel in distress" scream queens only): Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Vacancy, White Out) Melissa George (Amityville, Turistas, 30 Days of Night) Mary Beth Winstead (Final Dest. 3, Black Xmas, Grindhouse)

Tiffany Shepis all the way!! Now there is a true honest to God ass-kicking Scream Queen. Screw damsels in distress, those are things of the past. Some don't deserve to be on that list, I think it's quite evident which ones. Jennifer Tilly would be cool if only she was younger and has more horror films under her belt. Emily Perkins should have made the list. Fairuza Balk maybe. Erin Brown. Eliza Dushku.

This list blows. Where was Mary Elizabeth Winstead? You'd think being the star of Final Destination 3, Black Christmas, and Grindhouse would get you a bit more recognition on a list like this. I don't even know who most of those girls are, and I doubt that'll change. None of these girls will ever come close to taking the crown away from Jamie Lee Curtis and Neve Campbell.

I like Mercedes and Sheri Moon but they don't really belong on this list. overall it blows.

I can't believe they didn't have Shawnee Smith on that list...
