BD Horror News - Tyrese Gibson to Produce Action-Horror Zombie Film!

Hot off the action-packed summer release Transformers, internationally renowned actor and musician, Tyrese Gibson, will step into the role of producer for the new action film Condition Dead, - a no-holds barred zombie film in the vein of James Cameron's Aliens! Bloody-Disgusting.com has learned that Tyrese Gibson will be producing a new action-horror film CONDITION DEAD.

Crafted by tyro scribe David Davis, script fixes on an elite team of government-subsidized zombie-hunters who are mysteriously ambushed by a viscous new breed of zombie.

Cast is yet to be announced.

Clint Morris (Between the Sand and the Sky) and Rock Shaink (The Seed) will produce alongside Gibson, under the actor's HQ Pictures moniker.

Genre veteran, Patrick Lussier, fresh off Rogue Pictures’ White Noise 2: The Light, is attached to helm.

Yeah, its Clint Morris from Moviehole producing and Dave Davis of CHUD fame writing by the looks. I guess they saw an opening with Harry Knowles' projects fell apart? This Rock Shaink guy worries me though.... another one of his projects gets announced every week... has any of them happened though? Where's 12th Man?

This sounds cool as hell. Will Tyrese be starring? And over on horror.com there is talks about 12th man. Apparently the casting begins this summer.

Yeah Rock is supposed to direct the Hidden remake for New Line. Wasn't he onbe of the writers for the new Saw film too? Or was he a producer on it?

that Hidden remake has been mooted for years - it ain't happening. The guy is probably just trying to get a studio interested in his spec by getting PR everywhere. And no, he's not aboard the Saw remake - I think his only credit is a short film called Terminal?

What's the latest on this? And according to studio database Rock did work on the Saw film as an uncredited writer. Probably did a polish.
