Universal Home Video has today officially announced Dead Silence for DVD, which stars Donnie Wahlberg, Ryan Kwanten, Amber Valletta, and Bob Gunton. DVD Active reports that this James Wan (Saw) directed horror flick will be available to own from the 10th July, and should retail at around $29.98 in total. The film itself will be presented in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes (including an alternate beginning and ending), a Making of Dead Silence featurette, a Mary Shaw's Secrets featurette, an Evolution of Visual FX featurette, and Aiden's "We Sleep Forever" music video. A HD DVD/DVD combo release will be available seperately for around $39.98.
