This is kinda long and doesnt really shed any new light..but I think its pretty cool, so Im gonna share. Last july 2006 I was in Chicago for the flashback weekend convention. After the con, we were hanging in the hotel lounge only to find a lot of the celeb guests there too. so I spent a cool night sitting round a table with Tiffany Shepis , Don May, and some troma folks while people like Ken Foree and Lloyd Kaufman popped in and out to say hello. Sitting on my right was a fellow I didnt know. He excused himself from the table, and while he was gone, Ms. Shepis leans towards me and asks if I like comics. After I reply "yes, I do", She preceeds to tell me that the quiet man next to me was Tim Seely, the creator of Hack/Slash. When he came back, I had to let him know thatI enjoyed his work. He was very nice and very appreciative. I asked him about the film and he told me he was very pleased with the way it was progressing thus far and he had known Todd Lincoln for a long time and was confident he would do it justice. I know this may not have much to do with the article per se, but it was one of the coolest nights in my life thus far LOL.
