Well here goes (remember, I warned you guys in advance)
1) Kennedy beats out Edge, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, King Booker, Findlay, Orton, and CM Punk. Best match of the night. Lots of brutal arial work, blood, missed landings, a 25 ft. leg drop, and a midget air suplex 0ff the top of a 12 ft. step ladder.
2) The Great Khali beats Kane in the lamest match of the night. How the mighty have fallen.....
Interlude: one of the funniest backstage sequences I've seen out of the WWE in years involving legends of the 80's and 90's. All I gotta say is CrimeTime, Eugene, Moolah, Mae Young, Jimmy Hart, Sgt. Slaughter, I.R.S., Ricky Steamboat, Dusty Rhoades, Slick, and Ron Simmons cutting a rug in a way that had everyone busting a nut at the absolute absurdity.....
3) Chris Benoit defeats Montel Vontavious Porter to retain the title in a pretty decent ground-based technical match that you would expect from the middleweights.....
4) The ECW originals defeat the 'New Breed' in a pretty decent stunt match that was solely hamperred by the fact that it was way too short. Nice to see the old school guys can still deliver in the big spot.
5) The Undertaker pins Batista to retain his unblemished Wrestlemania streak at 15-0 AND gain the world title (thankfully). As I alluded to earlier, this is probably Taker's end run and he was given the royal send-off for his unswerving loyalty to the company over the years. Taker's entrance was truly something to behold. Sent chills up my spine (which I doubt Rob Zombie is gonna do this summer, just to keep it on task, couldn't resist taking a dig during this slow news week).
6) Umaga gets his pathetic ass beaten by Bobby Lashley resulting in Vince McMahon getting his coif shaved mid-ring. Lots of drama (as far as wrestling goes) in this one including a Shane McMahon coast to coast drop kick and the patented 'Greenwhich Shuffle.' Stone Cold deliverred the requisite Austin theatrics and Donald Trump, yes that Donald Trump, deliverring a ringside mugging by sending a few well-placed knots to the head of our beloved CEO.....
7) Melina retains the Women's title. Ho-hum.....
8) John Cena retains the title, yet again (yawn), by forcing Shawn Michaels to tap out with his new-found grappling skills. Ho-hum.....
We've been ssooo slow with updates lately that I couldn't resist. If I have to keep it real, I'd say all you Tyler Mane fans would find this entertaining (here comes the delete button).....
