Back in 1984 Ruggero Deodato created quite a stir when his film Cannibal Holocaust (pictured inside) was released into the world. Over 20 years later it is regarded as one of the most brutal and convincing horror movies ever released. We received official confirmation this morning that Deodato will be returning to franchise he created with a "companion piece". It is very important to understand that this is a companion film and NOT a sequel, NOT a remake and NOT a reboot! Time to get excited! Cannibal Holocaust has been banned in dozens of countries due to its gore and violence. Click the title above for more info on the original film.
The film centers on a professor traveling to South America to find out what happened to a film crew that disappeared while shooting a documentary about reputed cannibal tribes. He eventually discovers the remains of the crew and several reels of undeveloped film, which show the disastrous consequences of the crew's decision to provoke the natives.

It was released in the United States in 1984 not in the world. The film actually got released in Europe between 1980 and 1981.
boring - sounds like a mix of CANNIBAL FEROX and the original HOLOCAUST to me - give it up, do something useful, why not make a sequel to BODYCOUNT - oh, on second thoughts, no, please don't.
paint your house Mr Deodato - thats more constructive ....
