Today Rob Zombie revealed the prototype figure for NECA's upcoming Michael Myers figure, which is being developed for the release Dimension's remake of Halloween on August 31. Read on for a peak! After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Its a toy, so not that much to say apart from its fairly accurate, in proportion, needs colour (obviously). Wont be purchasing one though. It probably wont hit the streets in London for ages anyway........ by then, the movie will have been and forgotten about..... Unless its Oscar awarding time for Robert Zombie?!!!

Damn, that's a good lookin' action figure; if that's any indication to what Michael will look like in this new movie, then at least he'll look cool.

NECA is really coming with it. As much as I am a fan of McFarlane's figures, NECA's Cult Classics series is superior to McFarlane's Movie Maniacs in detail and likeness...I have both Michael figures including old school Dr. Loomis. Looks just like him.

I'll definitely be getting one of these to put on my shelf, next to the original Michael, young Michael, and Loomis NECA figures. And I gotta second what Dead Gerbil said. NECA's horror action figures have put McFarlane's to shame. Try putting their Movie Maniacs Michael figure next o NECA's, the difference in quality is ridiculous.

It looks like the old Neca figure, but is that a bad thing?

Once it gets painted I'm sure you'll be able to distinguish the slight difference. but it's a good thing they look similiar, seeing as how this figure is based on Rob's vision, which means Michael hasn't changed much in physcial appearence save for being nearly 7 feet tall...

Where's Suaron and Superfly and all those other guys who make it interesting in here--with their arguements and such? Anyway, can't wait for the figure. Maybe they'll package it with new Loomis or the new version of young Mike...who knows...But it has to have some variation to distinguish it from the original NECA Halloween figures.
