I really think the main question is, will all of these announced films get made? We have hundreds upon hundreds of generic sounding horror films in production, but none see the light of day. Today we add yet another to the list as Ricky Gervais (The Office) and Greg Kinnear (Little Miss Sunshine; both pictured inside) are teaming to star in DreamWorks' romantic ghost comedy (sigh) Ghost Town, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The good news is that it will penned and directed by Stephen Spielberg's go-to screenwriter David Koep (War of the Worlds). The story centers on a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living. The studio is eyeing an October start date.
