First we brought you all of the casting news for Ti West's (The Roost) third feature film Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever exclusively (here) on B-D, now we've got some interesting word from set. With only a week left to shoot, a B-D reader sent in a little report from the set of the film, who says over 200 gallons of blood have been used thus far! Read on for the skinny and a link to a bunch of set pics. In the sequel, the killer virus comes out of the woods and has a date at the high school prom.

"I just got back from a grueling trip to North Carolina - to see the action on CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING FEVER. The locals have been fucking amazing - aside from being kicked out (seriously) of two schools for obscene bloody action - the third is the charm - they love it.
On the night I arrived - Ti West (the director) was bowling with the crew at 10 pins lanes on the only night off - and bowled an amazing 11 games - but up the next morning to shoot the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in person.
I can tell you that Justin and Ozzy from Creation FX have pulled out the stops with Ti on this one. With still a week of shooting left - they have gone through TWO HUNDRED GALLONS of BLOOD. No f-cking joke! When I heard that - I thought of you."
Holy mother of God, 200 gallons of blood?! It sounds like Lionsgate has really given West a free hand on this one, hopefully it'll turn out as amazing as it sounds.
