Little Michael Myers teases his mask, we take a look inside the sanitarium and the Myers house ages 17 years - those are the three new stills Rob Zombie has posted from his remake of Halloween, which hits theaters August 31. Read on and watch for the trailer in front of Grindhouse April 6. In addition to those stills, some crazy cat posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos on our own official MySpace page, check 'em out! After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

New stills comes from Zombie's MySpace. Click any pic below for full gallery:

Well, now we know the reason why Mike goes nuts and kills everyone. He didn't get enough Halloween candy. Poor kid :(

Hey if you look closely at the pic of the house, you can see Michael on the balcony! LOL... I just noticed, funny. Anyway, movie sounds like it going to be amazing. Can't wait until it opens, I will be there opening weekend.

This is going to be so horrible, I can't wait to laugh at everyone that thought this was actually going to be halfway decent. Retards!

Myers on the balcony - hahah, he's too tall to walk through the door-frame without stooping.

Based on those 3 pictures I've made my mind up about this movie completely. What a time saver.

Based on these three pics - this WILL be the highest grossing movie of all time! Ever. But I said that about Talledega Nights - so what do I know. Jonny - you and I will both be at Grindhouse. No - I won't be there because of the trailer.

It has the potential of being the highest grossing Halloween installment (aside from the original), but not the highest grossing movie of all time. But then again, they are trying to direct it towards all audiences as well as fans. But filmakers and studios need to keep in mind, it's because of the fans that movies like these even get made.

Looking good. They're all great pictures. Can't wait to see the teaser.

When Darkness fell...He arrived. What a corny tag-line. Sounds like a thirteen-year old wrote that.

u dont mess with what was meant to be and what was perfect already. u could never top it and thats not being sentimental! thats obvious. his movie will come off as a husstle like most other remakes. the only reamke i can think of that needed a remake is king kong! for a better looking ape. thats about the only movie i can think of that needed a make over. dreamscape! theres another movie that could use a make over.. that was a cool flick, yet the effects sucked the wazzzoo!

Good day to you. I would say that Halloween WAS in need of a facelift and I think its a positive from Zombie to give us a backstory about Michael. I think all of you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome of this version.

This movie is going to be incredible. Rob Zombie isn't going to fxxk up a classic. He's gonna make it scarier, and better. I just re-watched the old one this week after hearing of this, and minus the fact Myers is a terrifying character, it totally needs a makeover. CANT WAIT FOR THIS!
