One of our favorite indie horror films in years was Steven C. Miller's Automaton Transfusion, which gave us only a glimpse of the talents of the young writer/director. Today he revealed his second feature film project, entitled Bad Moon Rising, which is a new breed of werewolf movie. Inside you'll find word from Miller, along with a link to storyboards from the film, which is now being shopped around Hollywood, CA. Watch for more news as it comes in, we can't wait for this one!
Steven Miller tells Bloody-Disgusting exclusively, "The film is SNATCH meets THE DESCENT with a werewolf twist. It's a back to basics, bone crunching, flesh ripping, hell of a ride! It's going to have everything I love about great bank heist movies mixed with the terror of werewolves without the use of crazy CGI. I really think the horror fans are ready for a werewolf film that gets back to the good old days of horror with great practical FX and minimal CGI. This film will deliver what we have all been waiting for in a good werewolf flick!"
