Beware The Moon: Remembering An American Werewolf In London retraces the making of this remarkable film, as told by those who made it, and those who continue to be inspired by it. Hosted by horror journalist Paul Davis from nine of the original locations used in the movie, this extensive documentary uncovers the production of the film from its conception in 1969 to its release in 1981.
G'day Wolfen, It sounds like it's gonna be a great one. AWIL is one of the first fright flicks to scare the hell outta me when I was a kid. The scene at the Slaughtered Lamb was priceless. The five-pointed star shrine, the low lighting, creepy atmosphere. The countryside, even in daylight, gave an eerie feel to the opening of the film. It emitted a lonesome, haunting quality in itself. Just knowing if the beast came for you, there'd be no escape. The howl of the beast after the boys leave the pub, makes you afraid for them. "You can't let them go", "Stick to the road, keep clear of the moors" Go, God be with ya'...Beware the moon lads". keep the lights out & the screams guttural!!!
