So far only one horror film has failed to impress our writers, who are enjoying the SXSW Film Festival in the hot Texas sun. First we have a review for Ti West's (The Roost, Cabin Fever 2) sophomore film, Trigger Man, which Tex calls "fresh and absorbing." In addition, we've added a review of Jeremy Saulnier's Murder Party, which turned some heads at the Slamdance Festival in January. Tex calls the film "laugh-out-loud funny and filled to the brim with a cast of assorted characters that you can’t wait to watch kill each other."
