Not sure how you can tell if this film looks good or bad from this photo. It is merely Zombie taking a photo with the actors! Amazing how fast time is going, only 2 weeks of shooting left. Before the net, it used to feel like forever that these films started, wrapped and were out in theaters. Now it just seems like weeks with all the exposure. The official Halloween fan site has FINALLY updated their site with the recent pics. I was beginning to think maybe Bloody Disgusting was taking over as the official/unofficial fan site!!!

Well, we can look at this two different ways. This movie can either go down in the history books as a masterpiece (The Devil's Reject's) or, go down as a laughable and horrible mistake (House Of A 1000 Corpses) either way, I have prepared myself, but there is no way, I'm missing out on watching the remake. I'll be there supporting the film, fingers crossed and all.

Look who's talking! Try using a comma in it's proper locations. How about some spaces between words. How about some capital letters in proper spots i.e. in the name Rob Zombie. Notice the capital letters in both the first and last names. Also of note, try a capital "I" as in, when you said "i" agree in one of your rocket science post, stupidfly. Put a comma after "vote" and before the word "and" next time STUPIDFLY!

Technically, for what it's worth, you do NOT have to have a comma before conjuncting with "and" when listing. While I personally do use a comma, it is a duality of our language that the comma is NOT necessary and can therefore be omitted. For what it's worth.....

Well, I'm just happy that Rob posted on his site that he never said that he would not use the original theme, that MTV misunderstood him. He makes it clear that music is not even being thought about until filming wraps and that he planned on using the theme all along. I'm glad for that.

Well thank's SUPERFRY, but I'm really not one of anything. Just a horror movie fan, major (Original) Halloween fan, who would rather take a shot on a re-imagining than another awful sequel. I think atleast exploring Michael's orgins is a new take that "POSSIBLY" could work. I think most of us could admit that he has not been scary since #2. The rest suck. Sorry if I offend. I just feel that with remakes being the trend, that will continue, this story has a blank hole with Michael and why he is what he is. I always thought a prequel was around the bend with a movie that followed Michael in the asylum all those years. So why not take a shot and see if this work's. Like I've said a ba-zillion times, Carpenter's version is always a DVD (or VHS) away.This wont ruin anything (see Hitchcock's "PSYCHO"). We got nothing to lose.

Jonny,I'll be curious to to hear your review after it comes out.One thing's for certain I will NOT see it in theaters.But if someone unbiased,such as you seem to be,can give a detailed critique it MIGHT get me to rent it on PPV.MIGHT.I don't feel comfortable supporting this trend of pointless remakes geared to cash in on the name value of classic,proven franchises.

SUPERFRY. I can understand your stance. This remake is a touchy subject for most fans of the movie. I'm extremely curious to see it and will see it in the theater. I have no problem reporting that it's awful if it indeed is. But I'll give it a positve review if I like it which I'm sure I'll take heat for. I'm just keeping an open mind.

Ive got to be honest, I have seen the MTV clips and the setting doesnt look all that bad at all. With regards to the mask debate, it looks the same as the original film but just slightly dirty. Laurie looks attractive enough and the family looks normal. Do you think it might be best to wait until the film has been viewed before rash judgement has been cast upon? Tally ho.
