I'm not exactly sure what the status is on DreamWorks' remake of the Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters, but at one point Tom and Charlie Guard were attached to direct. Whether or not they still are is beyond me, but what I did find out is that there is a draft going around by a writer named Craig Rosenberg (Half Life, After the Sunset). Hopefully this means that there is movement on the remake, because I really think that this could end up being just as cool as the original. The DreamWorks version centers on modern-day teenage sisters Anna and Alex Rydell who return home from a mental hospital only to find their recovery unraveling because of a cruel stepmother, clueless father and a lingering ghost
I like the korean version. I'm hoping hollywood could top the original. Hey, can you also find out about an asian film titled "sigaw"? (scream).. I heard they gon remake it also.
Not a single remake could reach the level of the original. So I'm very worried about the remake of A Tale Of Two Sisters, because the original is one of the best movies ever made. I'm very dissapointed about the idea of a remake.
The Ringu remakes were bad, the Grudge remakes were not good.
