First Look Pictures has finally announced Billy O'Brien's Isolation (review) on DVD for June 26. In the film a young couple on the run take refuge at a lonely farm, only to find that the farmer has been supplementing his income by allowing genetic experiments on his cattle. A mutated calf is born and goes on the hunt. Here's what I had to say, "If you’re a fan of David Cronenberg and his disgusting techniques in visual storytelling, ISOLATION is going to blow your freaking mind. In fact, ISOLATION is the most solid gross-out film since THE FLY that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end."
WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I've lost faith in humanity. Dead Silence better not tank, or turn out to be crap. Or else something's gonna happen and it won't be pretty.
This is truly disappointing. With this latest move, The Weinsteins are getting the wrong reputation. It really is a shame they don’t seem to care about the filmmakers or fans.
