Nacho is best known for his controversial short film about mortuary necrophilia, 1994’s “Aftermath”, Cerda’s “The Abandoned” is completely different – a quiet, disturbing and frightening film that will stay with the viewer long after the credits have rolled. Bloody-Disgusting recently spoke with the Spanish-born director about his amazing new film and discovered that there is more to this movie than meets the eye.
