We received a scoop from two separate sources that indicate that both Rider Strong and Giuseppe Andrews (pictured inside) will be returning in Lionsgate's Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, which is being directed by Ti West (The Roost) from his own script. Strong and Andrews join both Larry Fessenden and Alexi Wasser who we announced exclusively here the other day. In the original 2002 film Strong played Paul, one of five college graduates rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals. Andrews played Deputy Winston in the film. Watch for more casting news as it comes in.
*slaps head* where the hell is ELI ROTH? i mean i know he is busy with HOSTEL II but how could you even consider making a sequel to such an extraordinary film. sure...some sequels can be just as good if not better than the first but c'mon now...CABIN FEVER 2??? *sigh* im not trying to be a drag here guys but seriously...cabin fever was one of the best horror movies to come out of 2003. and now 4 years later we have cabin fever 2...
i'll never understand
Well at least now I might actually watch it, Andrews, and Strong were the best part of the first one. I am sad that Roth will not be a part of it, but he has a lot on his plate now.
To be totally honest guys and girls, I never thought the first Cabin Fever was at all horrific, yeah sure it had gruesome bits but all in all, it wasn't an entirely great film. I was not hanging off my seat or even close to vomiting like the TV advertisements promised... I was disappointed with that film and I am not looking forward to this upcoming sequal.
i think eli roth is a horror mastermind and dont think it will not be the same but me and my friend and crush watched the first one and it was bloody and scary and amazing and we look foward to seeing the second one and by the way eli roth is very talented and HOTT!!!
the only thing i want to know didnt paul (strong) die in the end of the first one . what is that about?!?!?!?! omg ZOMBIE HOTTIE!
It was never a horrific film, I agree but it was in fact insanly good.
