In addition to the official site adding a new International trailer and film clip for Danny Boyle's Sunshine, today the first poster was revealed from Fox Searchlight's upcoming sci-fi/thriller. The film, which hits theaters March 16, stars Cillian Murphy, Rose Byrne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Cliff Curtis and Michelle Yeoh. Read on for a peak and watch for more news as it comes in.

Fifty years from now, the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel. There is an accident, a fatal mistake, and a distress beacon from a spaceship that disappeared seven years earlier. Soon the crew is fighting not only for their lives, but their sanity.

So its an arthouse version of Armageddon? Just what we need. And the same assholes that trash Armageddon all the time will love this, just because liking Danny Boyle doesn't make you look bad, unlike liking Michael Bay. fuck this movie.

SPOILER WARNING I saw at the screening of this film.. The film was "ok" Plot was ok.. but it seemed like it was just another disaster film. Cillian Murphy was awesome of course. "Team 1" vanishes, "Team 2" goes later and finds out what was left of "Team 1." (Sadly they run into Team 1's signal.) Something from "Team 1" causes even more trouble for "Team 2" The ending sucked.. BADLY. I hope the ending was rewritten or at least shot differently. The film goes from very slow and builds up speed and just goes too fast to enjoy it. The gore and death scenes where pretty awesome though. More will probably be added.. The big bad guy in the film was HARDLY seen, and he was either shot off cam or there was allot of motion blur. I HOPE THIS IS FIXED.
