I'm not sure where this news comes from, but B-D reader 'DVD Scooper' sent it on in this morning, "Rogue Pictures will release this year's remake of The Hitcher on Tuesday, April 24th in separate rated (83 mins.) and unrated (91 mins.) presentations. Special features for both discs include three featurettes -- 'The Road to Hell: Remaking a Horror Classic', 'Pedal to the Metal: The Stunts of The Hitcher', and 'Hot August Nights' -- a collection of alternate/deleted scenes, a set of TV spots and trailers and an audio commentary by director David Meyers and stars Sean Bean, Zachary Knighton and Sophia Bush will round out the extras. Audio options include an English Dolby 5.1 soundtrack in addition to French, Spanish and English 2.1 tracks. Retail price is a scant $24.95." We'll keep you posted on an official announcement.
Posting FAKE news yet again. Why am I not surprised? For the real scoop regarding the DVD check out: http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/the-hitcher2.html
