The Hollywood Reporter announced this evening that Darren Lynn Bousman will return to helm Lionsgate's Saw IV (more details here), but what they failed to mention was which story was chosen for the screenplay. Bloody-Disgusting learned exclusively that Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's (Feast, The Midnight Man) story was chosen to be developed into Jigsaw's fourth entry in the popular franchise, which was created by Leigh Whannell and James Wan. No details on what will happen to the other stories but word has it that Lionsgate is looking to release six films in the franchise. Could this be the start of a new trilogy??!!
