B-D scooper 'OrangeMeyers' is back again from the set of Rob Zombie's Halloween with another photo for you guys to dig on. Inside you'll be able to check out one of the Haddonfield Sheriff cars that are being used in the film, which is now on its fourth week of shooting in Pasadena, CA. Read on for the pic. After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Doesn't look like an 1978 police vehicle to me. What year is the second half of the movie taking place?

Scott

It's an ok police car. I'd rather it be a different color. I also think that it looks too fake, it doesn't look like a real police car would. But, other than that, i guess it's ok.

It doesn't really look like a '78 police car. I'm guessing since its not a '78 police car that it's the second half of the movie, which takes place in 1995.

It's a great car i guess. I'm guessing it's for the 95 half of the film since it doesnt look like a 1978 police car. Thanks BD and OrangeMeyers

I can't really tell anything by viewing a cop car. The house pictures were much better. Seeing some of the actor's in character will be very interesting, especially Loomis,Laurie and of course Michael. Thank's for the picture anyway, something is better than nothing.

So, who's playing Cletus and Boss Hogg? Is Michael going to screen "Yeeeeeeeehaw" before stabbing a virinial chick wearing Daisy Duke cut-offs?

Does anyone know when this is supposed to take place? Like year-wise?

Scott
11:15pm, February 19, 2007

It's supposed to take place in 1978 (when Michael is a kid) and 1995 (when Michael is grown up and kills).

Is that a 1970's cop car? It doesn't look like it to me.

What year is the car from? I dont know. But, what I do know is that Rob Zombie's Halloween will be an amazing film. I've seen the MASK, and heard the new theme and all I got to say is that Rob Zombie is putting his heart to this film no matter how much harsh criticism is thrown at him. This will be a new rebirth of an legendary franchise and Halloween 2007 will be staggering!

Does it really matter ? It's a cop car, wow! Lets focus on more important stuff here.

I'm a cop and can tell you that this vehicle is acurate in as much as the period (95') is concerned. Even the light bars & wheels are correct for that year. As far as the look, it looks like tons of police cars all over the country. Color schemes vary and are the discretion of the dept. There is nothing there that can make anyone say that it looks phony.

If I were a cop, I would shoot that car for sucking so hard.

Bob, Bob, Bob. Let me give an example of how you come off on these comment boards......."This sucks because it sucks. The car sucks, the houses suck, the movie sucks because it sucks, Rob Zombie sucks because he sucks",blah, blah, blah. Bring something that atleast explains your Beavis and Butthead statements. Back it up with some substance.

That ain't a bad-lookin' police car... 'bout only problem I see is the inclusion of the Federal Signal AeroDynic. Reckon that Federal's Vector or the Code 3 MX 7000 would be a better choice for a lightbar for that era. The Aero will forever be associated with "The Dukes of Hazzard." What I don't understand is how a single city has a sheriff's department. 'Bout every sheriff's department I know are countywide. Trivial issues, anyhow. I'm lookin' forward to this contemporary masterpiece!

Randailizer. First off, learn how to write and for that matter spell. Secondly, I never said being a cop makes me a car genius. I was trying to be helpful and tell people that the car was acurate, because some people asked. THAT'S IT!

Look in all do respect and to end this now...the original pd in Halloween was the Warren County Sheriff's Department. Not the Haddonfield Sheriff's Dept.. Strike 1 for me..
