Magnolia Gives 'The Signal' A Date, Shifts 'Severance'

Magnolia Pictures announced an August 10th date for the Sundance Film Festival horror pic The Signal (review), which was directed by David Bruckner, Jacob Gentry, Dan Bush. In the film a mysterious signal is being transmitted from all media devices in the city of Terminus, provoking murder and madness within the psyches of its inhabitants. Magnolia also announced today that the UK horror-comedy Severance (review) will now hit theaters on April 20, which is a terrible idea if you ask me. The film will pit up against David Arquette's The Tripper and Dimension Films' Rogue. Expect a date change somewhere soon.
