It is no secret that Universal Pictures has been trying to develop another Jaws movie, in fact, it has been going on for years now. As much as a sequel sounds like bad waters, I would love to see Jaws in action once again - it's too bad it might only be on the small screen (or at least as big as your TV screen). Rob, I agree with you there. They should have stopped with the second one. But, it is good to see another film for Jaws. The Van Helsing sequel shouldn't have happened. The first one was great. The second one will suck because I don't think there's any story to tell anyway.
That guy's pitch sounds good... If it hadn't been done a million times before with a million other movies. Didn't Rocky just do it? Fuck Jaws, I'd like to see a decent in-theatre version of Meg and The Trench (the third installment sadly falls into that cliche the guy writing the e-mails pitched PLUS a reality TV spin so forget that one).
No way will the Jaws franchise continue its success once Meg comes out... If the movie is anywhere like the book series, it will make the Jaws franchise a distant memory... Dont believe me?
