Korean production and sales group the Core Studio has picked up international rights to Untold Beauty, a romantic horror story set somewhere between this life and the next. Pic was unveiled in Pusan by production house Shooting Gallery Motion Pictures, which had previously gathered together half of the $1 million budget from a group of Singaporean embalmers, according to Variety. The story follows a young man who embarks on a career in embalming, but loses his cool when his girlfriend arrives on his slab. The pic is the directorial debut of Roy Lim, a producer-distrib who previously operated Rebel Productions, a specialty horror label which handled "Audition" and "Dark Water" in Singapore.
