We've received word this morning that Kindred Media Group will be producing Dante Tomaselli's long-delayed horror film, The Ocean. Word on the street is that principle photography will begin in March in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The Ocean will star Margot Kidder (Sisters), Vincent Pastore (Return to Sleepaway Camp) and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) with cameos by Judith O'Dea (Night of the Living Dead), Ellen Sandweiss (The Evil Dead, My Name is Bruce), Edwin Neal (Texas Chain Saw Massacre), John Fallon and Lynn Lowry (Shivers). The Ocean is about supernatural riptides terrorizing a coastal community. Kindred have also produced the horror film, Southern Gothic, starring William Forsythe.
