for once diamond dave doesn't like the idea of strippers in a movie. and not rapes, hints of incest, masturbating to dead animals, etc....when did halloween become a texas shock fest? when did haddonfield turn into trashville? i am very disappointed by the news and rumors, and i don't think i will see this. well lets hope that friday the 13th can regroup and do something good.

...listen, the script sounds about as over-bloated as Rosie O'Donnell and Trump's toupe'. The casting sure as hell is. I completely agree with DLR..hopefully the Friday franchise will "regroup" as the Diamond man put.

zombie, put me in this movie. you are putting other 70's icons of film, why not me? remember, cameos are good ways to trick people into forgetting that this remake is nothing more than house of 1000 corpses part 3. zombie, you claim to be a fan of the genre and have respect for the classis. shock, gore, blood, nudity, rape, michael masturbating....all of these things were either absent, implied, or minimal in the classic. why are you going over the top with these ideas?

can i be in the movie? i can play the mentally retarded person that gets raped by the orderlies. i must say rob, however did you come up with that piece of crap idea? here is a suggestion, have michael be as big as a professional wrestler, have him talk, have him masterbate to animal kills, oh wait those ideas are already there...thanks for a real winner, hope mindless fans love this and crave a sequel.

Who would have thought ? It's like dog's and cat's living in harmony. Maybe WE should write this script. Anyway's, I'm still on the side that no matter how this turn's out, the original wont be affected. When you want to watch "Psycho", it's always Hitchcock's version. His rep is still in tact regardless of a crappy remake. But I understand the other side that feels this is insulting. It's just inevitable times with the remakes. They will continue. But the originals will always stand up in the end

I hear ya. But here's the problem: There's a whole new generation out there that were born in the mid eighties and later that don't know these classics. I've heard teenager's who think Texas Chainsaw and Hills Have Eyes were brand new movies.

Also,I disagree with statements regarding the original not being touched. After a crappy remake,do you think those same ignorant people who thought the 'TCM'And 'Hills...'remakes were new will ever bother to check out the 20 or so year original?Even good remakes, like "Hills" have the same effect although the original "Hills" was hardly a classic.Cult classic,yes.Classic,no.

I feel your concern Superfry. But I personally wouldn't let this remake affect your feelings. It's tough to watch something you really care about the way that it is being re-worked when the original is just fine. Again, these remakes will continue to happen . Some kid's are smart enough to go back and see the real deal, but others wont. And that's ok. A good example would be "Dracula". That sucker has been remade more than anything. And some(older generation) will only accept Lugosi, some it's Christopher Lee (My fav), and some it's Gary Oldman. We have the freedom to watch whatever work's for us. I will see this remake of Halloween, if it suck's, oh well, I got several copies of the original at my disposal. I don't have to re-live the remake if I don't want to.

Oh well, like I've said before,we have yet to find out how much Dimension will gut this script.Zombie and his mindless ass kissers have got another thing coming if they think Zombie's vision will make it to the screen as he wants it,considering Dimensions track record for meddling. It would hilarious if this movie actually turned out decent BECAUSE of studio tampering.
