Anchor Bay Entertainment announced this morning that they'll be moving Scott Glosserman's critically acclaimed horror film, Behind the Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon (review) from it's February date to March 16, just a week before Universal's Dead Silence and Fox Atomic's The Hills Have Eyes II hits theaters -- it looks like March is going to be a big month for horror! The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.
Hell Yeah!!! Sadly my theatre probably won'y play it. Unlike other good ones such as, 'Borat', 'Little Miss SUnshine', 'Children of Men' and even 'Alpha Dog'.
I guess to make March an interesting month this is great, however, i was hoping to see this as soon as possible so I'm fairly disappointed:)
It should be great but they probably wont screen it here in my city with the small population of 100k people.
damn... i was looking forward to seeing it this feburary. :(
